Jackson Thanksgiving

The first day of Thanksgiving break (my last collegiate break!) was one of so many good things. Not only was I able to sleep in, which is a sort of celebration in itself if you ask me, but my roommate and I kicked off the weekend with an early Thanksgiving potluck-feast for a few Jackson friends. A day filled with music, preparing for guests, cooking, etc., and then the day’s work (and play) having come to fruition in a room full of warm, friendly faces and, yes, even more food! Oh, boy. A lot to be thankful for, for sure. It was definitely the best way to begin thinking of all the things and people I have to give thanks for. Hope that all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow and are able to fill up on food and time with loved ones!

Jackson ► Chicago

Film swap no. 2! This time I shot some studio stuff with the charming Margaret and Hilary before sending the roll to my good friend Laura Ferkaluk in Chicago. I’m really liking how they turned out! Here are the best from that roll as well as a few from the studio.

MRS. | Kristi Woody

If you follow me here on Goldfish then you’re going to recognize this face. Early in October my good friend Kristi tied the knot at a beautiful farm in Humboldt, TN. The outdoor ceremony was awesome, despite a little drizzle — the landscape and weather were dramatic and looked like something out of Wuthering Heights. The reception was warm and cozy in a barn just up the hill from the ceremony. Delicious cakes and miniature pies. Antique plates that Kristi hand-picked in the months leading up to the wedding. And lavender. The bride, of course, was stellar. Kristi was so beautiful in her dress, custom made for her by a friend, that I had to snag some pics of her at the reception. Here are a couple for you to see!

Congratulations, Kristi & Rhett!
