Food, Photo

To celebrate our friend Margaret Brinson’s graduation and continued presence in Jackson, the wonderful Angie Roberts arranged an Indian themed surprise party this week. We dined on curry chicken, dahl, green beans, cilantro salad, and chai tea. Indian music and incense, along with some creative and colorful decoration, really made a fun surprise for our dear friend.

After dinner, Angie’s oldest son, Zach, showed us his garden and sold me a squash plant! This scientifically minded eight-year-old would like to continue growing and selling plants and own his own nursery when he grows up. Let me know if you’re interested in a squash plant, and I can hook you up at 25-50¢ each!
