It is February 14th, and I will likely go back and forth between “Happy Valentine’s Day!” and “It’s Tuesday, right?” But for some reason “Valentine’s Day” and “Thanksgiving” have been unexplainably interchangeable in my mental calendar as of late. And I think I’ve realized, despite my inclination toward pessimism, that it’s because there is a lot of love going around, in my life and in others’, to be thankful for. I’m blessed with friends and family that I love and am so thankful to have in my life. So for today’s post I’ve included pictures of pairs that I’ve taken over the past few years, of friends, family, and couples. I hope all of you have a wonderful day today and let someone know that you are thankful for them and love them!

I thought of waking her.
But it was unnecessary.
There would be other nights.
And how can you say I love you to someone you love?
I rolled onto my side and fell asleep next to her.
Here is the point of everything I have been trying to tell you, Oskar.
It’s always necessary.
